I have a question for you.
What if you woke up tomorrow morning knowing that everything was in place? You’d been to the doctor for a check-up the week before, you weren’t due for another dental cleaning for three months because you’re on a schedule, and the home you live in is completely within your means to maintain.
How would you feel?
When I think of having all of those things done…I feel I huge sense of relief. Knowing that I don’t have any “big things” hanging over my head gives me a feeling of freedom. And, chances are, I’ve consulted professionals – my doctor, dentist, a realtor – to complete all of these tasks.
That’s why, when it comes to “big things,” it surprises me how many people haven’t consulted a professional about their financial future.
Your financial picture intersects with many other areas of your life. And it’s hard. It’s emotional. If not managed properly, it causes a wide range of issues – from debt and credit issues, to marital strain.
Finding peace of mind
Just as you would consult a doctor if you were sick or a realtor if you were moving across the country, finding a resource you can trust when it comes to your financial needs is crucial to your peace of mind. And when you find that professional who is just the right fit…it can lift an enormous burden from your shoulders.
That’s the best part about my job and the reason why I’m so passionate about what I do. Yes, financial planning is about the numbers, but more importantly, it’s about the people I serve. When I observe the release of tension and anxiety someone has been carrying for years…I feel that relief right along with them.
I love witnessing the moment a new client shifts some of the burden of being solely responsible for their family’s financial well-being onto a professional’s shoulders. It’s exciting when they realize they’ve found someone they trust to walk with them, guide them, and help them navigate the road to financial freedom, financial independence, and financial success.
Just as you wouldn’t self-diagnose a serious medical issue or move into a house sight unseen (usually), if your present and future financial picture is something you’re having a hard time imagining, then it might be time to consult a professional.
Someone who would be honored to help you alleviate stress and reach your full financial potential.
Someone like me.
